This is a really funny question because my son and I argue about it all the time. I say it starts on Sunday, he says it starts on Monday. Here's my theory, on the calender, Sunday is the first day of the week. Also, I like to think that I end my week AND I start my week with a day off, so I actually start to work on the second day of the week. It just makes me feel better. He says that God rested on the 7th day, so Monday is the first day of the week. Also, Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekEND, therefor, Monday has to be the first day of the week. I have to admit (if only to you) that I really believe he is right, but what is fun in life if you can't argue with your kids! lol.....I will say Monday is the first day of the week.

Monday is the first day of the week based on the Biblical seven days. God supposedly rested on the seventh, that's to say, Sunday.
