Status means race, sex, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, handicap, or Vietnam-era status."

I find it interesting that Vietnam has been singled out. What about Korea or the first Gulf War or Iraq? (Why don't they just say military status?)
Frankly, it's unfortunate that this needs to be spelled out. But I agree with the race, sex, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation and handicap cautions. I don't get the military one at all!
