how i emulate a mdf file?

i use daemon tools to emulate cd images but i downloaded a program and the image is in mdf format, i tried with daemon tools and alcohol 120% but they dont support that file type and i really need to use that program

Find a program to make a .mds (media descriptor) from that .mdf
When you make the .mds file you can mount that instead.
I think you can use DVD Decrypter.

Usually Power ISO and Alcohol 120% can open mdf files. Suspect that you may have a bad download (or the original you are downloading from is bad). Try buying a legal copy instead...
