Try this before you buy a whole bottle of clarifying shampoo that you probably are not going to use very often:
Beer can be used to remove the build-up hair products leave behind. You should try that- it should also remove whatever is causing the mustiness. If you don't have any beer, use white vinegar or lemon juice... just wash your hair as normal, then squeeze out all excess water, pour on tons of the beer & then just spend a few minutes hanging out in the shower (take the opportunity to exfoliate, shave, etc). Then rinse well, repeat w/ more beer if you feel like it, and condition. I've done this a number of times, and never noticed any lingering beer-smell. Lemons will probably smell nice (but they seem a little harsh for hair, don't they? probably not something you want to do often) and I don't know about vinegar leaving a smell... I've heard it works the same way.
Oh- and BE SURE THAT THE BEER IS ROOM TEMPERATURE!!! You do NOT want to pour an ice-cold beer over your head.
Good luck...

you have to be sure approximately getting the vehicle professionally wiped sparkling which in concept ought to do away with the smell of the canines in spite of the indisputable fact that it relies upon on how long they have been interior the vehicle. The longer the harder it incredibly is to do away with the smell. All i'm able to be sure if which you have 2 selections. locate yet another vehicle which does no longer have canines smell or purchase this vehicle and get it professionally wiped sparkling and if the smell would not circulate, to do away with it. Sounds like you have fungus in your hair from it staying wet for so long. Try using a clarifying shampoo then some conditioner. If that doesn't work try a vinegar rinse. Good luck

Just wash you hair with a good shampoo (Pantene, as someone else mentioned, is wonderful), then dry (defuser and all) it BEFORE you sleep on it.
That ought to be the end of the problem! :-))

You might have a fungus, Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo might help, it was designed to fight fungus that causes dandruff. You could call your doctor and ask what they recommend.
