My mother and father share a parent so there half siblings. But they really like each other, is it a bad thing?

Nothing is your fault.... so don't feel bad about being 'inbred'.... it's not a good idea for members of a family to marry - especially brother and sister because the genes are too close and can increase genetic dispositions that are common to both parents. So just be aware of their physical weakenesses because you will have a tendency toward them.
Keep healthy - that's all... and don't blame any of this stuff on yourself - you're not a bad person because of this. Actually, in most states, cousins can marry.... and in some cultures, you needed to be related to keep the bloodline - so it's not something that's never been done.

You are not a bad person at all!!! And don't let anyone tell you, that you are.
If your parent's are together and share the same parent, then it is generally not recommended that they have offspring together - due to complications including deformaties. However, that is not to say that their offspring are bad people in anyway. You had no control over the situation so you are not at fault in any way.
Just for your own piece of mind - I'd probably chat to a counsellor about it at some stage down the track. This will help clear up any 'stigma' associated with being the child of first-related parents.

sweetie you are not a bad person. Medically speaking incest could cause lots of problems if both parents share a family medical problem. I would say that it is best not to marry or have any children with relatives. As far as morally wrong..well I'll leave that judgment to a higher being.

Well, it's illegal for one, if they're married. Since they are half siblings it could cause deformities in their children. Then again, it may not like in your case. To be honest, their relationship is deviant from the socially acceptable norm. You, however, are not a bad person for having been born under these circumstances. That had nothing to do with you and you are fine. There is also no reason for you to feel the need to share this information with other people. You sound very young, so if you are having problems with this emotionally, please see your counselor at school about this. It's confidential and could help you deal with it. God bless.

Your not a bad person. It's not your fault either. But a little advice: HAVE BETTER MORALS(then your parents did) and Don't go with "in the heat of the moment feeling" either , especially with family. Then things like won't happen. Sorry for the position your in, but I think you should talk to your parents and tell them how you feel.Or maybe you need to take a step further with counseling. GOOD LUCK

It's a bad idea for close relatives to have kids together because there's a better chance of genetic diseases. I believe it would be illegal for your parents to get married in most states. They're as closely related as first cousins and it's illegal for first cousins to marry in most states. Most religions also have rules against incest--probably because they noticed that the resulting kids kept getting sick and figured this was God's way of telling the parents to cut it out.
As for your other question--of course you're not a bad person because your parents are related. You can't be held responsible for something that happened before you were born!

the fact that your parents are siblings doesnt make u a bad person at all!
it is kinda gross, that they slept together but that diesnt make them bad people either as long as they are good parents and you are being well looked after by them .
just dont have childeren with your brother because they did, it is wrong and the bible doesnt allow it!

Incest is wrong, no doubt about that, that does NOT make you a bad person, you could not choose your parents. I think that counselling would help you with this matter and come to see it from the point of view that it was no fault of yours.
