When a guy always wants to put his arm around you in public and kinda pull you along with him, playfully, but forcefully, would this be a sign of a control freak?

If that's all he's doing, you're probably ok; but he's not respecting you by going against your wishes. If he's trying to tell you what to wear, and questioning you about your girlfriends and your whereabouts when he's away, you need to get out now!

forcefull and playfull do not belong in the same sentence. it's one or the other.
it's like "a black-eye but it only turned blue so it's not that bad" type of sentence.
controlling is when you are not entitled to make a decision. such as the length of your hair, how much cleavage to show, who your friends are, what you are allowed to eat, drink and how to talk. if a guy wants to walk with you with his arm around you that's not a problem. If he drags you and snaps at you, it is.

Anytime a guy puts his hands on you forcefully, it's controlling.

It can be. I would look for other signs of controlling behavior. I would also tell him it bothers me and if he blows off your feelings as unimportant or says you are taking it too seriously then beware.

It depends on how you take it. If he wants to know where your at every 5 minuets then that is a problem. Good Luck.

I think so...He is emphasizing the fact that you're with him and that no one can take you away from him and that you already have a boyfriend...
