Flea dip for you dog
Get the dog on frontline

For your house get that borax laundry booster. You will find it in the laundry aisle. Sprinkle it over your carpet and let it set for 15-20 minutes. Put a flea collar in your vacuum (if it is bag less in the container, if it has a bag put it in the bag.) Vacuum up the powder. Immediately take the bag or the container outside to dump it. If you leave it to sit there the fleas can get out. Do this a once a month. Make sure that when you vacuum you immediately get rid of the bag or empty the container outside. They have a special spray for furniture that you can spray stuff down. Make sure you wash all bedding and dog bedding so it kills the flea.

Push come to shove if none of this works flea bomb your house.

Wash her a good flea shampoo (go talk to the people at petsmart, they're helpful) and then spray/powder your house. If that gets rid of them, get the dog on some preventative. You can buy cheap ones at walmart that only deal with fleas. Ive got mine on frontline plus. It helps for lots of stuff.

1.Give your dog a good bath,
2.Wait a couple of days then (works best with skins natural oils)
Apply FRONTLINE or ADVANTAGE (nothing else) off brands can possibly cause severe illness even death
3.wash any bedding in warm water
4.vaccum carpet frequently if you follow these steps I guarantee the fleas will be gone!
5. Reapply ADVANTAGE or FRONTLINE every month
6. Also invest in a flea comb super cheap about a buck
comb it through your dogs hair, have a bowl with hot water and alcohol, any fleas that stick to the comb dip in the bowl.

At any pet store you can buy a soap or powder to rid your pet of the fleas. If you can wash your dog get the soap if not then get the powder.
It would be a good idea to clean the dog soon as fleas can cause disease in your pet if the pet gets bitten too much.

I heard that washing your pup with DAWN (the dishsoap) really works to kill the fleas. Fleas have this oily residue that protects them from most pet shampoos but DAWN breaks up the oil and kills the fleas. Once you give your pup a good wash or two... try keeping him/her away from other dogs with fleas or buy a flea collar. Good luck!

1. use Frontline on your pets.

2. Get a yard spray from your vet's office, or Petsmart.

3. Get Fleabusters! This stuff is great and contains NO HARMFUL PESTICIDES. It dissolves the shell of the flea and their eggs. www.rxforfleas.com

yes. get frontline plus or advantix for the dog, get a spray for the house that contains growth inhibitor, and use a yard spray for outside.
if you don't do all 3 you'll never break the flea cycle.
wash all pets bedding and vacuum regularly, dispose of vacuum bag or it's contents in a garbage bag immediately after vacuuming.

Consult your Vet. Do not purchase any in store treatments. They are one step away from being poison. For treatment around your home, leave dishes with a water vinegar solution in bowls around. Something about that will draw the fleas to the dish.
