Of course, the bible itselfs states that a Christian shall not suffer a witch to live. This was used as the justification for many witch burnings by Christians.

As a recovering Catholic, aka "Witch", Christianity was the justification to eliminate any and all things spiritual that did not fall in line with Dogma. Wicca is called demonic by people who fall for the Christain propaganda and shows their ignorance and lack of education. We are not the ones who drink the blood and eat the body. That's cannabalism. Witches were labeled Satanic because satanism rose as a direct affront to christianity. Wicca opposes Christianity so Wicca must be Satanic. Can we practice simple logic people or are you just going to spout hate propaganda from the Christain Church?

There are our friends the Wiccans out there who just might object to you saying they don't exist.
Witches and witchcraft are real.
I'm not talking about the stuff of Harry Potter. But here are very real people out there who embrace a life different from that of Christians.
PS: It's not in the Gospels. It's Old Testament.
PPS: Dear Friend Starrwoode: You might want to compare a map of the "burning times" to a map of Christian reformation. You'll find that it wasn't witches that were being burned. But Christian killing Christian. Many saints barely escaped.

They must have because the puritains put 19 people to their death and one was pressed in stone because they believed they were witches. many more were left to suffer in jail including a four year old girl. It was happening all over the world then.

witchcraft is real and yes it says in the bible suffer not a witch to live, so thats why they put nine million people to death for witchcraft. witchcraft is a religion, wicca is what most people call it and its a recognized religion by the american government and they must allow us our holidays off just like a christian or jew.

You mean you don't believe that there are those among us that worship creation rather than the creator. Their prayers are called spells and they believe in magic... That a witch if you ask me.. Jim

we believe they are real, but we believe they serve Satan, who is our enemy.
There is nothing in the gospels about witches, but it's clear in the old Testament, when King Saul got in trouble for consulting the witch of Endor, that witchcraft is a nono. God wants us to depend on Him.
