I was with my first boyfriend for over a year. We broke up recently, and now I find it hard to forget all of our good times together. I'm having some really rough nights over this. I still love as he is my first love. How do you handle these feelings and emotions?

The only thing that will help you is time. Time heals most wounds. It'll also help when you start dating someone new and "move on". Spend time with friends and family and remember why you broke up. I felt the same way about my ex when we first broke up (he even asked for me back and I was smart enough to say 'no'). I remembered how much I hated how he wouldn't stand up for me with his family and knew it wouldn't go anywhere (his family only disliked me because I was from Oklahoma and they felt New Yorkers were superior... although I live in NY now, his family is the only people I ever met with that attitude).

It takes time and it hasn't been that long. I was married to my ex for 18 yrs and sometimes i still cry when a song that used to listen to will make me cry ! It has been almost 6 yrs that we've been apart and i just hope the best for him . good luck

talk to sum other guys. get to kno sumone else dnt waste yo time sulkin over one man. its pointless. get up go out have fun fall in love until u find the right one. u might get hurt but wats life without the experience?

it will take you a while bc i had the same thing happen to me and i would always remember the good times we had together...but i moved on and that was hard but i did!!!!
