Well, it all comes down to how much money you want to spend and what modifcations you're willing to make to your car, if any? Now I can give you recommendations as far as companies, but depending on the above questions, the components and install will vary. Here are my recommendations from various companies:

MTX: Either the 9500 or the 8500 series subs
JL Audio: W7(my first choice) or W6v2 subs
Eclipse: Titanium series or the 8000 series
Kicker: CVR, L7, or SoloX
Memphis: Mojo or LVS series
Hifonics: Goliath or Atlas series
Audiobahn: Immortal, Eternal, Flame Compression series
Powerbass: 3XL series
Cerwin Vega: Stoker and Stoker Pro series
Earthquake: HoLeeS and Subzero series
Orion: H2
Fosgate: Power series (T1 and T2)
alright, as you can see the list goes on and on. Pretty much every company will offer a damn good sub as their top of the line setup. So, what it really comes down to is how much you're willing to spend and which you think sounds better, because only you can determine what you think sounds good. What I say and what everyone else says are just our opinions, but we don't have your ears. So shop around and check out as many setups as you can (use one of your cds to test them, that way you can hear something you're familiar with, and use the same cd for all the systems).

Your not going to get it without a box, well you won't have much bass anyway.
