Oh, GOD I hate the DMV....they are never available by phone...and I have come to the conclusion that to work at the DMV must be the worst job possible....because ALL of them are jerks! They don't care how long you spend in line....they will send your butt away if you aren't fully prepared....the problem also is that they aren't capable of FULLY informing you of what you need....because they don't want to take the time to figure it out...so they cause you to have to come in...maybe 3 or 4 times before getting what you need....no wonder so many people drive with expired tags! It's like pulling teeth trying obey the damn law! And have you ever noticed that they always have security at the DMV? I always wondered why...but I think it is for the protection of the people behind the counter...because there have got to be some people out there that they piss off to the point of insanity!
Oh I almost forgot...like the others said...try calling when the first open....try dialing O....otherwise you will have to go in....sorry.

at the starting up, that regulation develop into gone through the California Legislature and that's not a DMV coverage. The DMV won't be able to make regulations! 2d, the California cellular telephone regulation would not take result till July a million, 2008.

look up on the computer what your regional DMV office phone # is and call that. I live in the far north suburbs of chicago and called the main office in chicago instead of the DMV by me and got right through to a live person.

I feel for you. You Have to go there, stand in line for 4 hours, ask your question and then the clerk tells you that you are in the wrong line. They do that to you 3 or 4 times. When they are done laughing at you they may or may not answer your question. They could tell you that you have to come back at another time. Good luck with that nightmare situation.

Try calling as soon as they open in the morning. Then keep pressing 0. Hopefully they will take you to the operator. Good Luck.
