Do not take the synthetic thyroid pill, called synthroid. It is SO bad for you. Try Armour Thyroid, a natural thyroid that can be prescribed by a physician. I was able to lose weight and feel like myself again after taking a product from the brand Standard Process, called Thytrophin, and Kelp capsules. You can get standard process at a lot of health food stores over the counter without a prescription. I would totally recommend it as it really helped me.

Thyroid disease is one of the most common health problems we face today. From a practical standpoint, there are many ways to approach this issue. Learn here https://tr.im/zUo0R

Hypothyroidism, or underactive thyroid, is a very common problem, and there are many reasons for this, including drinking chlorinated and fluoridated water, and eating brominated flour.

Chlorine, fluoride, and bromine are all in the same family as iodine, and can displace iodine in your thyroid gland.

Secondly, many people simply aren't getting enough iodine in their diet to begin with. The amount you get from iodized salt is just barely enough to prevent you from getting a goiter.

You have to discuss with your doctor whats best for you, I take Armor Thyroid and it works for me more than synthroid, that gave me headaches. But talk to an ENT and talk about the best options for your lifestyle.

Weight gain and fatigue are normal symptoms of an underactive thyroid. it should begin to regulate with treatment. it must be frustrating, as you are probably too tired to exercise to help reduce your weight. you probably feel the cold alot too. make sure you get on treatment and that they monitor it regularly by blood testing.

yes. take the thyroxine, watch your diet as best you can. eat low fat and high fibre and make sure you eat lots of high energy foods. watch out for constipation and be realistic! this is a nasty autoimmune suppressant illness and has lots of degenerative side effects from memory loss and depression to hair loss and other evil things. but on the plus side...free prescriptions for life!!
dont be fobbed off by people. its really happening and its not your imagination! honest.

Talk this over with your Dr. ...Each person is different in how to evaluate how they will respond to treatment. Not a doctor but i would suggest talking to someone in this line and go from there.
