You are depressed. Depression can cause all of the symptoms you mentioned. The fact that that you are hearing "voices" means that your depression has gotten worse and that you need to get back on an antidepressant. You really need to see a psychiatrist who can assess all of your symptoms and is a specialist at knowing what medications would be best for you.

Even with a psychiatrist, because everyone's body is different, they might have to try a number of different medications before they find what is the most effective for you and has the least side effects. Please be patient with this. I have gone through the same process and it was worth it to find the best meds for me.

Don't pay attention to those who say nothing is wrong. I used to work as a R.N. on a psychiatric unit for over 20 years and know that you need to see a doctor and get on some effective medication.

You sound a lot like me in that way, it was by pure chance that I was able to discover what my problem was and I believe you may have it as well. Part of it is depression, but there's much more to it than that. I believe you may have Avoidant Personality Disorder. All the symptoms match. Mind you, keep in mind that I'm no therapist. But I've been researching into the subject for a while now and have found a lot of information on it. Do any of these apply to you? Because if they do then you probably have AvPD.
1. avoids occupational activities that involve significant interpersonal contact because of fears of criticism, disapproval or rejection
2. is unwilling to get involved with people unless certain of being liked
3. shows restraint within intimate relationships because of the fear of being shamed or ridiculed
4. is preoccupied with being criticized or rejected in social situations
5. is inhibited in new interpersonal situations because of feelings of inadequacy
6. views self as socially inept, personally unappealing or inferior to others
7. is unusually reluctant to take personal risks or to engage in any new activities because they may prove embarrassing
Avoidant Personality Disorder makes you very touchy, even light criticism can hurt your feelings. Do people not understand when you get upset over what they consider to be something little or insignificant? That's AvPD. It's hard to explain but go to this site and you'll find all the information you need on it. http://www.tljones.co.uk/apd/apd.htm
If you're not sure if you do have AvPD, take this online personality disorder test as it is accurate in diagnosis and was created by a psychiatrist. Mind you, it might be a good idea to consult with a therapist to make sure the results are correct. You can find it here:

Hope this helps.

I don't have ADD, but i can relate to the other problems that you described. I was diagnosed with depression so it could be that and anxiety. self conciousness can be a part of depression, and is definately a part of anxiety. It makes me SICK when people tell you it's becuase of teenage hormones.

The diagnosis is simple, you're a teenager. Join the club, I feel mostly the same way. The solution? Wait for puberty to finish up and in the meantime find someone caring to talk to. If you need to vent, you can e-mail me at Karn413@yahoo.com. I may be far from the best available, but just discussing your problems can help a lot.

The only proper way to get a diagnosis is to go to a doctor, who if not able to diagnose your problems, will be able to refer you to someone who can.

hypochondria

it's a temporary feeling - i went through it too in high school. if the same symptoms bother you in a year, then seek help for anxiety and/or depression. until then, try to focus on the positive!

Nothing. We all feel that way sometimes. Talk to your parents or a friend about how you feel.
