Who named your kids?? My 8 yr old daughter's name is chantrella amanda...i have wanted chantrella for a daughter ever since i was a teen...i told her dad chantrella amanda and he wanted amanda chantrella...we settled on chantrella amanda...Yeah!!! We were best friends for 15 years when i slept with him one time...He is still my best friend but do not love him..he lives in boston, i in florida...pays child support every month without the courts involved, a really good dad. My son is 8 months old and my daughter named him brendin...his middle name is his dad's...I let my daughter name him as i raised her for 8 years and would be taken care of him 99 percent of the time while my hubby works and that's what we decided.

the reason why i said so much about my kids and their dads was so no one would be rude and say you have 2 kids with 2 different dad's. It worked out great for me...

You really shouldn't think that 2 children with 2 different father's is different. it isn't, it happens to alot of women. no big deal, but your children sound very sweet. i am 7 months pregnant at 18 years old so you dont seem bad at all lol. but anyways if my baby is a boy, its trenton alexander and if baby is a girl its marion nicole. me and my BF both picked out the names.

When I got pregnant for the first time, my husband and I couldn't agree on a name. I ended up reading names off out of the phone books. He would say no or maybe to them. We knew it was going to be a boy. Well, in the phone book I came across the name Morgan and he said that wasn't bad. SO that is what my son's name turned out to be. The only one who could some what agree on.
With my daughter, I looked in a baby name book. Had lots of choices but he didn't like any of them. Then I said the name, Emily, and He thought that one was ok.
So, as to who named them, I'm not really sure. In a way, I think it was him who really had the deciding factor on what there names would be.
I want one more and if it's a girl I want it to end the same way Emily name ends, in an ly. Kind of stupid but that's what I want.

I don't have any kids yet, but I have a system in place in my head, where I'll get to name the girls and my boyfriend can name the boys. I thought it was a good plan, because I don't really like any boys' names at the moment to be super-passionate about them, whereas my boyfriend has a lot of boys' names he likes. I do have definite ideas about girls' names, though, and my boyfriend doesn't really agree with me on them, which is exactly why I don't want him to be in charge of naming the girls, LOL.
Right now I really like Mia Grace for a girl, but I have been toying with the idea of naming her after me with a different middle name (Alana Simone) and just calling her "junior."
If I could choose a boy's name I think I'd pick Jack Dylan, because I think Jack's a nice, sensible name that doesn't sound too cutesy, and I love Bob Dylan and it would be great to name a baby after him, and also, his initials would be J.D., which could be in honor of one of my favorite authors, J.D. Salinger.

Aaliyah Ann
Aalyssa Kathryn
Aaliyah has my middle name and Aalyssa has her great-grandmother's name as her middle name. My fiance picked out their first names. I get to pick out the name for our son or daughter we plan on having next. All I know is that I would NEVER give my child 4 names (first, middle, middle, last). Their father's name is James William Peter (last name). We decided not to put our child through that.

We named our kids, together. Each name has special meaning for us, and are names we liked.
No matter what, you need to think about how the kid could be teased by the name. My Dad went to school with a girl named...listen to this.... Ima Hoar. No kidding. Who would name their baby daughter Ima Hoar?? There was a boy named Rusty Nail, but that is mild compaired to what poor Ima Hoar must have gone through. Mike Hawk got teased pretty badly.

I named my son. I love his father but some of the names he came up with were off the wall! I well I guess WE settled on Andrew. Its a strong name and common. I didn't want anything that is popular 'today' like his father did.

Well i wanted to name our son a name that started with the letter J cause our names are Jessica & Jeremy and i wanted to put Lee into the name cause both our middle names are Lee.
My husband wanted to name him ozzy lee but i could not have it. I named him Julian Hunter Lee (then his ast name)
Julian came from the show "Passions" I fell in love with the name.
I thought hunter flowed well with the name and of course lee because of our middle names.

Well, my wife named all of our kids. Here are their names:
Frank
Ulysias
Carlton
Karl
Yovanna
Okiami
Urbersia
My wife is from Europe, so some of the names are European in origin. I love them the same though. I think the wife should name the kid(s), out of respect of the mother/kid(s) bond.
