My girlfriend wants me to tell her what I think about her, and she wants me to completely be honest about everything, good or bad. I am afraid it might ruin our relationship. She demands to know the truth, and it is one of the "bad" thing about her, too demanding, I may add. I am putting our relationship on the line here, and I need help on how to handle it and what to say or how to say...anything. Shite ! I may have to lie, but I don't want to. Something is just better not to know ???? Should I just let her know what I really see in her, honestly?

Number one: This is asking too much of you. She needs to know herself, for herself.
Everyone needs praise.
Everyone needs to work on one or two things at a time.
and everyone needs to rely on his/her own self-evalutaion more than on what anyone else thinks.
Even her dearest loved ones.
Start by paising what you can. Stick to requests for specific changes in behavior, one at a time over the course of months. Explain that such things must be done over time, and she just can't have access to your every thought.
They're your thoughts and feelings.
Promise her that you will cover those things that bother you the most, so that you will prevent the bigger potential problems.
Make sure she knows you are open to hearing one and only one major thing that she would like to request from you, acknowledging that you are just as human as the rest of us.
She will very likely demand more information. If you are 100% firm, she will see that you mean business.
It's her choice whether to adapt or not.
Scary, but we can open Pandora's box only a very little at a time!
It will be up to her then.

I would say if she wants to know, tell her. You should start it off by telling her that often times the truth hurts but if you want it here it is. Chances are she needs to hear it. Someone as to tell her about her bad points. Might as well be you.

If she is being so firm you should do as she asks.
