I've been shaving my pubic hair off lately but now I've started to get ingrown hairs how can I avoid this as I don't want to grow them back.

Get them removed by electrolysis.

Before you shave, exfoliate the area thoroughly. Use a buff-puff if you're delicate, or a loofah if you're hardcore.
Always use a new blade, and plenty of shaving cream.
Shave with the grain of the hair.
Don't shave every day, if possible... it irritates the skin.
You can try anti-ingrown hair treatments like "Bikini Zone" but I find that just plain old unscented lotion works as a moisturizer. Moisturize every time you shave.

I don't know if there is a male version of the Brazilian wax or Bikini wax, but maybe you could try that. You're probably getting hair bumps from using a dull razor, or shaving in the wrong direction.

If you're prone to ingrown hair, there isn't much you can do but "leave a little" growing.
The only other solution would be to have the hair permanently removed, which would be painfull and awfully expensive.

Moisturise after you have shavedand make sure you use lots of shaving foam or whatever you use when shaving.

If you have just started shaving the area you will find that after time it will not happen

there is nothing you can do really, just apply cream to keep the area soft and it may soften the hair stopping it from causing ingrown hairs.

TRY USING A HAIR REMOVAL CREAM OR WAXING IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE, SHAVING TENDS TO SPLIT THE HAIRS.

exfoliate & moisturise.....definitely!!

also wax instead of shave - much better result, much longer lasting & the hair regrowth will lessen as time goes on.....

and when your feelin cheeky you can wax it into a love heart shape or something!!
