As mentioned above, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses, as its name indicates, uses large magnetic fields to generate images of your body.


There is no ionizing radiation involved in MRI, and there have been no documented significant side effects of the magnetic fields and radio waves used on the human body to date. See webpage from NIH.

I consider this an extreme case of magnetism near your body vs. a magnetic bracelet/necklace.

Hi. They use MRI for diagnosis, so I would say probably not.
