The speaker I am hoping to locate is a blond woman who lost her eysight after being shot through the temples. It was an "in and out"wound that passed through the back of he eye socets cutting her optic nerves. She was then abducted by the shooter, and brutalized over the next several hours. It is a rough story to even think about. The thing that saved her was her ability to keep cool under stress, and her naturaly low pulse rate that led her captor to believe she had died. When he abandoned her, she made her escape, while blind and bleeding! If someone could help me put a name to this person it would sure help me.

I read a book and saw a show with Dr. Wayne Dyer who spoke of this women and her incredible strength of character and determination. I am certain he would help you locate her for a good reason.
