Shrimp
Crab
Italian food

Down Home Crab Cakes
2 (6 ounce) cans crabmeat, well drained, flaked
1 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs, divided
1/2 cup KRAFT Mayo Real Mayonnaise
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine

Mix crabmeat, 1/4 cup of the bread crumbs, mayo, egg, barbecue sauce and onion in large bowl. Cover. Refrigerate 2 hours. Shape crabmeat mixture into 8 patties. Coat patties with remaining bread crumbs. Spray each patty on both sides with no stick cooking spray. Cook patties in butter in large skillet 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until firm and golden brown on both sides.

Shrimp Scampi

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 pounds fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined without tails
1/2 cup olive oil 4 cloves garlic, minced
1 shallot, chopped
1/2 cup fresh parsley, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
2 tablespoons white wine
2 tablespoons brandy

In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly. Dredge shrimp in flour mixture.

In a large skillet, saute dredged shrimp in olive oil for 5 minutes over high heat. Toss shrimp often to prevent burning. Transfer shrimp with a slotted spoon to a serving dish, leaving the oil in the pan.

In the same pan, saute the garlic, shallot, parsley and oregano over medium heat for 3 minutes; stirring constantly. Spoon the mixture over the shrimp. Return pan to the heat. Preheat your broiler for medium heat.

Pour the wine and brandy into the skillet and ignite with a match or lighter. When the flames die down, stir to loosen any browned bits on the bottom of the skillet; pour over shrimp.

Place the serving dish of shrimp in a preheated broiler for about 2 minutes.

My favorite Italian recipe is...

Tiramisu

Genoise sponge:
3 1/2 ounces (110 grams) caster sugar
4 eggs
1 3/4 ounces (50 grams) melted butter
3 ounces (85 grams) plain flour
1-ounce (30 grams) good-quality cocoa powder
Filling:
1 pound 1-ounce (500 grams) mascarpone
2 1/2 ounces (70 grams) caster sugar
2 egg yolks*
3.5 fluid ounces (100 milliliters) Vin Santo
4 to 5 shots espresso coffee
Tia Maria liqueur
3 1/2 ounces (110 grams) good-quality white chocolate, melted
Cocoa powder, for dusting
1 bar good-quality dark chocolate, for shavings

First make the sponge. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C /gas 4).

Whisk the sugar and eggs until they are at ribbon stage. Fold in the melted butter, then fold in the sifted flour and cocoa. Pour the mixture into a lined Swiss roll tin and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove the sponge from the oven when it is done and leave to cool.

To make the filling, put the mascarpone, sugar, egg yolks, and Vin Santo into a bowl and mix until smooth.

To assemble the tiramisu, break up the sponge and press it into the bottom of a shallow dish. Drizzle over the coffee, Tia Maria, and white chocolate. Spoon over the mascarpone filling, then dust liberally with cocoa. Using a large knife, scrape the chocolate towards you to make shavings and arrange these delicately over the top.

I like chinese (sp?) food. If you want to try diffrent recipes go to verybestbaking.com and click on recipes and the swapped recipes. Type in the type of food or an ingredient and click on search. You will get tons of recipes that are users favorites and if people like you ar me try the recipe we can go in and rate it from 1-5. I go and search something like chili and look thru all of the pages that are there but only pay attention to the 4 and 5 star recipes that everyone else likes. I love seafood. Specifically shrimp, any way but coconut. And lobster. Yum.
If I make shrimp at home I usually saute it up with some olive oil and garlic and mix it with some pasta. You could also use a jar of Alfredo sauce, if you wish and add any type of veggie to it you like.

my favorite pasta is called pasta salad.

first you boil water in a big pot.

then you pour noodles into the pot. (like maceriony noodles)

let them boil and put them through a strainer.

then put mozzerella cheese into the pasta with green olives

(any amount you want)

then put salmon into the pasta. ( it can be from a bag or can or fresh)

then get some italion sauce(forget which kind)

and pour about half of a bottle in

then mix it all up and walla. you get the best pasta salad you have ever had!

Enjoy!

I like pineapple ham and hashbrowns and baked beans. Just cook pieces of ham on a fry pan and add pineapple juice over it. its really good and helps keep the ham from drying out.
