I need to decorte a cake for a friend and she likes angels.....I live in Italy so it is hard for me to find the items I need...Can anyone think of a way to do an Angel theme with just icing and cake?

Make a white cake (use a bowl if you can) and when it is cooked, turn it over, so it will look like a skirt. Cover with fluffy white icing. If you can find the sparkle clear eatable glitter, sprinkle all over. Then take some thin white cardboard, cut into 'wings' and glitter them up. Place one wing on the back/side of the cake. Should look like an angel torso. Have fun.

First of all, buy an Angel Food Cake or just buy or bake a regular cake and put icing on it. then find a small angel statue to put on it, Then you can give her a nice card and write " To my friend who is a real angel to me "

Angel food cake with warm berry compote and with dollops of fresh cream. Decorate with candles and angel wings. Sounds heavenly to me.
You can make edible angel wings out of mint leafs dusted with confectioners sugar.
