I dont think a person could purposely drown themselves in that sense. The instinct is to survive even if it is just for a few more seconds!

Probably wait till it filled to the top. I doubt I'd be able to drown myself, and I'd want to believe I could be saved, even at the last minute. And I guess getting CPR from some cute paramedic wouldn't hurt!

It depends on how long this took. If i had 8 hours to sit there and contemplate it maybe i'd just drown myself but If it took 3 minutes I'd probably just struggle the whole time. In either case, you never know when/if help will arrive so it's a hard decision.

I'd wait because I don't think I (or anyone else?) could stay under water long enough to drown themselves; it's against all the body's instincts.

I would wait because there could be a possibility of not dying. Like if the water stops or the glass breaks or something. But i would wait, because you never know!
