Sure, the first Beast is the Roman Catholic Church, any google on the Internet will reveal this to you.

The second beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon, is none other than the United States with the horns representing religions that the majority of people were (Catholic and Protestant), Coming up out of the earth means that there were no multitudes as the sea represents (Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues) The United States had no multitudes was not a nation and no tongues so this is how this beast came up out of the earth. The Great give away that this second beast is the US is because according to...

Rev13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

This is speaking of the nuclear bombs that was invented in the US, they were the first to make fire come down from heaven.

You need to get the book the Mark of the Beast Vol 1 & 2, for greater understanding.

The two beasts in revelations 13 are seen throughout the whole book...

Ok theres something we have to understand about prophecy and the bible. This may sound weird, but hang tight and ill explain it all. In the bible, The sea represents Jews, and the land represents gentiles(non-jews).
in revelations 13:1 it says "And i stood upon the sand of the see, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea...."
This means that he is a jew...this is important! According to old testament prophesy, the messaih had to be jewish. This is the anti- christ- he will roclaim himself as christ in the tribulation, and through satan, he will have power to do a bunch of miracles. he will offer some kind of new world religion, promising peace...just read all the things in chapter 13 in detail. its scary!
This beast is also explained in Daniel 7:24-25

The seccond beast comes out of the land...he is a gentile. Read revelation 13:12- "...and he causeth the earth and them who dwell on it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed". This guy is a false prophet, who is proclaiming the first beast to be the christ.

You knon Jesus, right? How he came to earth as a man and was crucified for us? and then he came back to life three days later?

Yeah well some how, the anti christ is going to copy this... either it wasnt a really serious wound, or satan posesses him... what ever it is, hes going to amaze people... thats what it meant by "whose deadly wound was healed".

yeah. of you have any questions, just email me:)

Beasts represents kingdoms--in our modern world, political governments. For example in Chap 17& 18 of Revelations, Babylon the Great, sits on a wild beast. These chapters say that the beast is actually kings ( or kingdoms)

Another example is in Daniel Chapter 8. It talks about the hairy goat represented by the Greek Empire, and the ram represented by Medo-Persian empire.

The first beast is commonly called the antichrist. He is the one who claims to be God in the rebuilt temple of God (2 Thes 2), sets of an abomination in the temple (Dan 9:27, Matt 24:15) and tries to rule the earth.

The second beast is called the "false prophet" (see Rev 20:10). He tries to get everyone to worship the first beast.

Together with Satan, they make up what many call the unholy trinity (a counterfeit of the real trinity).

Antichrist counterfeits God.
False Prophet counterfeits Jesus Christ.
Satan counterfeits the Holy Spirit.

But don't worry, if you are a Christian, you will be caught up to heaven (the rapture) before these guys come on the scene!

The description "beast" implies a person or system with no divine influence within. It is appied in the book of Revelation to the antichrist and the false prophet, as AW said.

Rev 13:1 And it stood still upon the sand of the sea.

And I saw a wild beast ascending out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, and upon its horns ten diadems, but upon its heads blasphemous names. 2 Now the wild beast that I saw was like a leopard, but its feet were as those of a bear, and its mouth was as a lion’s mouth. And the dragon gave to [the beast] its power and its throne and great authority.

This wild beast represents all human governments. (sea represents ungodly men) and Satan is the power behind all governments today. (Matthew chapter 4)

11 And I saw another wild beast ascending out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking as a dragon. 12 And it exercises all the authority of the first wild beast in its sight. And it makes the earth and those who dwell in it worship the first wild beast, whose death-stroke got healed. 13 And it performs great signs, so that it should even make fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind.

14 And it misleads those who dwell on the earth, because of the signs that were granted it to perform in the sight of the wild beast,

This is the Anglo - American World Power trying to force mankind into worshiping the image of the first beast which is the UN.

The historical view was that these beasts were anti-Christs. (evil people that deceive) But recently the idea that these beasts may be nations is becoming more and more the accepted meaning among believers.

The first beast is the antichrist, the second is the false prophet. Satan is an imitater, he imitates the Holy trinity with his "unholy" threesome.
