It depends. You do become addicted to caffiene and your body begins to rely on the changes made in your body by caffiene. It can take a day or two or up to a couple of weeks just depending on how much and how often you drank it.

It is tough. The caffeine expands the blood vessels which gets rid of the headache. That is why Excedrin and others have caffeine as a major ingredient. Your headaches should dissipate a bit after 3 or 4 days , and in a few weeks you will forget you ever had them. Stay tough , it is a tough habit to quit.
