Well, personally I think it would be hard not to know, but I have heard of women who "claim" they didn't know.......So all you can do is take them for their word. Some women also have very irregular periods. There is a girl I know who has such an irregular cycle that she hadn't had a period in a couple of years. Then all of a sudden started having one, (still irregular tho) then ended up pregnant, but in the end had a miscarriage. I think it's very possible to carry a baby to at least the 5th-6th month and not know, but to almost term and not know......I would be very skeptical.......

I think they should have known at 8 months. I have a best friend, we both were pretty much "joined at the hip" all through high school. During our senior year, she complained have having stomach pains. I told her to go home and take some medicine and I would call her that evening. When I called her, she said it still hurt. I told her to stay home tomorrow and if she still was hurting, go see the ER. Needless to say, right before going to school I got a call from her. She had a baby. The baby girl was only 7 months along. She was a "large" girl to begin with and didn't gain weight for she wore the same cloths size the whole time. She still had a period the whole time. I know because we went clothes shopping all the time and helped each other find our sizes. My sis didn't find out she was pregnant till 6 months along because of an MRI showed the baby. She has scoliosis. The depo had cause her to have irrigular periods. Her baby was born at 7 1/2 months along. Both babies where very small for 7+ months.

Well I know it seems weird but if she has never felt what it is like to be pregnant and she did continue to keep having periods ahe may not have known, because several people still have periods while pregnant we did not know my sister was preganant until she was 6 1/2 months..she had pregnancy test, x-ray's and nobody ever said that she was pregant and she did really start to gain weight until she found out..which some females are like that i know that I myself was pregnant but until I found out all of sudden I gained weight it is partly a psyciological thing..so dont doubt she may not have known..unless she gained a whole lot of weight... most females notice weight gain!!!!!!!!!

Who are you talking about? Me, personally, I had very irregular periods, I'd skip a few months and then get a period and then I'd get 2 a month, yeah, very irregular. That's why I didn't know I was pregnant until about 5 months! The only thing that made me think about it was that i couldn't eat chinese food! (my favorite!) I barely gained any weight in that time, I didnt' start growing until my 7th month... almost 8th. It is possible,though...
I had no mornign sickness, or anything. Just a nauseous feeling towards chinese food and really bad heartburn...

I knew at three months when I needed bigger bras and had missed periods. I can not begin to guess how someone would not know at 8 months! Talk about denial, that is living in another world!

Especially when the baby moves! How did you not notice that for 2 months?^ I noticed at 3 months and it wasn't a mystery what the quickening was.

I think that usually happens to women who are very large to begin with. I'm with you. There is no way you could NOT know! Like, did you not notice that you didn't have a period for almost a year?

I had a distant relative that was mentally ill and denied she was prego even while she was giving birth! It could be that your friend was in so much denial that it affected her mentally to where she actually believed she was not prego. I think there is a name for it, not sure what it is, but it is real! Its like lying about something for so long you actually believe your own lie!

I am a man but couldn't help responding to this. We both seen the same thing on the news.
I totally agree with you, she, for some reason, is lying. If she didn't know, SOMEONE would have noticed and said something. What a phony.

Yeah....I think thats wierd. I think that some women that were big to begin with could have that problem, but I cant see how that would work.
