If you're not old enough to go to the doctor by yourself, stop having sex.

I went through a scare, too. Twice, once more because of the tuxedo I wore as a waitress, and the other more due to thongs and shaving. Thank goodness, I'm OK.
Bless you and your mom for having at least somewhat of an open relationship. I don't know if she freaked, but at least you talked to her! Good for you both!
Listen, if trying not to panic isn't helping, then remember this instead:
One of four Americans lives with herpes. It does not totally mess up your life. And with that many people infected, I almost hate to say it this way, but it seriously doesn't mean you'll never find anyone (I had feared that). There are groups for people with STD's, and after a while you get kind of used to it, I imagine. The physical side can be painful, but bearable. You can even have kids, very carefully with a good doctor's care.
Your mom and the doctor probably are right, though. Just breathe. You will be just fine.

I think that you should trust your doctor. She knows what she's talking about. You'll find out for sure when you take those tests. You could always get a second opinion from another doctor, if you think it would make you feel better. It could just be a cut- probably from your thong.
I would suggest that you try using a new soap to wash your clothes in- one that won't bother sensitive skin. Also try using normal underwear, not thongs. Even if they may not be the cause of this mysterious cut, the thongs certainly won't help keep you comfortable. I doubt that this cut is anything you should worry too much about, but I'm no expert, so you shouldn't completely rely on my judgment.
Try to stay calm. And please remember this experience when you are considering sleeping with someone in the future!
Good luck!

Well everybody has pretty much covered the obviou. DONT HAVE SEX WITHOUT PROTECTION
TRUST YOUR DOCTOR
IF YOU DO HAVE SOMETHING TELL EVERYONE U AND HE HAVE HAD SEX WITH
one that has been left out grow up. What were you thinking. do you care about your life at all. Now is not the time to panic. the time to panic was when you crawled into position to have sex. What if U WERE HAVING A BABY????????????????? Could u deal with that. It wouldn't be a sore or a disease it would be a little angle that you would be responsible for . you would have a life in your hands. THink about things before you do F*** up your life.

Hopefully you will be more careful next time, it's not funny catching a std, especially the ones that have no cure,,,,,,,,be smart and think before you get yourself into that situation again, let this be an experience for you. Look how afraid you are now, suppose it was an std what would you do? Your mom is probably right so don't worry too much just be careful............

sounds like herpes to me, they are ulcerated sores in the genital area or on the face area. Yes herpes it is, you better be very responsible and let all other whom you choose to be active with to know ahead of time that you have this. There is medication and if you go to the doctor they will give you some.
The other thing that it could be is HPV-genital warts another nasty venereal disease in which the infected person grows warts on their groin area and anal area. These can be removed.
You need to stop having sex and get yourself to the clinic and get some information on STD's there are a great deal of nasty things you can catch and spread, and as a female not even be aware that you have them. Be smart and get your self to a doctor and get treated and get some information on how to prevent these things. It is much better to be informed and knowledgeable of what is going on and how to prevent, rather than to contract something you can not get rid of. Good luck and God bless

If you can't spell you shouldn't have sex. Gunnaria. Clamidia. That's hilarious. I'm surprised you can spell vagina.
My advice is to keep you legs closed from now on, get tested for STD's, and stay in school.

If you don't believe the doctor, who are you going to believe? There is so much sex going on, one never knows what to expect! You are taking a chance everytime you have sex. Who slept with who before they slept with you?

1st off, if you had a doctor look at it, you have nothing to worry about. It is a good thing that you r going to get tested. 2nd I don't mean to be harsh on you, but it really irritates me when you have spell check, and you don't use it You do need to proof read what you typed, and stop spelling like you have a 1st grade education.
