Sometimes but not always..only when it is envy. there is a differance between jelousy and envy. Envy is when you wish evil upon someone. Its when you are happy and their failings and sad at their triumphs. But jelousy can just mean wanting somehting someone else has. I dont think its always a sin. But it can easily lead to envy, so be careful.

jealousy is a natural emotion when in a relationship of any kind .. it isnt a good emotion if it creates anger or problems
but i dont know anyone who hasnt encoutered it in some way

Jealousy is a form of anger.
See Proverbs 27:4
"Anger is cruel, and wrath is like a flood,
but jealousy is even more dangerous."
What do you think?

if you feel Jealousy because your wife cheating you , I don't think it is a sin, but if you feel jealousy because your brother is better than you , then this is a horrible sin
