I am enlisted Air Force I think you should, having a occupation that fits the Air force is more important. In nursing for instances you can get direct commissioned.
Human resourses, weather, Air way science, computers and Military science are big ones. You should be thinking about a Masters too if you are considering being an Air Force Officer.

I can't answer whether you can go party every night by ROTC rules, but I can answer you from experience in college: You can't. You have to study hard to get good grades, and study takes time and concentration. You can't concentrate when you are high. You may be able to go out Friday and Saturday nights, but not during the week.

Additionally, I suspect ROTC rules would not allow you to drink while you are under 21. They DEFINITELY would not allow the use of any illegal substance (pot, cocaine, crack, etc), and alcohol is illegal for those under 21.

I encourage you to go Air Force ROTC. You will have a good education, a guaranteed job after graduation with good benefits, and probably travel to overseas locations. I spent 8 1/2 years in the Air Force, and loved it.

I will tell you now, you really need to try to be a pilot. For that, you need good math skills, including calculus. You use calculus as a fighter pilot when you need to figure fuel loads. Pilots run the Air Force, navigators come second, and every other officer is dead last.

Good luck.

Do AF ROTC. You can still have a normal college life and you will be guaranteed a job after you graduate. Much better than trying to find one with no experience

The AF is the best branch. Yes, you should join AFROTC.
