I myself lost over 100 lbs in a little over a year and have kept it off for over 3 years. Heres what I did: Exercise regularly, eat a well balanced low fat diet, drink plenty of water, and keep a food journal. A food journal is so helpful because you can keep track of what you are eating and see what you may need to cut back on. Limit your soda intake. Exercising, it doesn't have to be anything crazy just something that you can stick with. When I started losing weight I walked for 30 everyday and slowly increased my time and speed overtime. Since its cold now you might try exercise videos or even joining a local gym. I hope this helps you out. Good Luck

Cut down on your portions and eat more small meals throughout the day. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day 3 times a week. Other than that you just need to give it time. It can take a couple of weeks before you start to notice a weight loss. Keep in mind - that from the exercise you're toning up and developing muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat but is compact. So you may actually gain weight but trim down if that makes any sense. Don't give up - lots of luck!!!

For me, it was "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Weight Watchers - its a great learning tool for the complete lifestyle change needed for over eaters. Its regemented with the counting and journalling and it keeps you focused if you stick to it which helps keep your mind off food. I tried NutriSystem and Jenny Craig they were so boring and the food - same thing all the time I couldn't stick to em

Cutting out snacks, and non-nutritional drinks like soda, are a big help. But besides reducing calories, to lose weight, exercize is the best thing you can do, because it helps burn calories and helps boost your metabolism too, for hours afterwards.
