anything as long as it has personal meaning to you and that you are gonna be happy to have on your body when you are eighty. Tattoo s are an awesome way of self expression and a good one is a living work of art. Maybe you could design one or have a friend design one for you. You can ask everyone here but that is only gonna tell you what they are into. Good luck with the search, I hope this helps a little :)

I'm getting my chest piece in Feb. I think they look beautiful. My design has a lot of meaning to each piece. There are several reasons I chose my chest to place this piece. One being I want everyone to see it, yet it can be covered if need be. Two I have severe scarring from chest acne and I do not like to look at that currently or in the future.

Forget about getting one on your chest as will look pretty bad after a short while. And once there is very costly to remove. I realize that tats are the in thing once again and have to admit to having three myself. My fiance has two, one on lower back and other on nape of neck. But for a woman to have one on her chest will look pretty rotten as you age. In addition like all other fads this one will disappear someday again and then I beleive you'll be sorry for your choice of placement of the tat. Think long and hard about it before going through with it.

Whatever you get should:
1. have meaning to you. Don't get something just cuz a stranger says it would look nice .. It costs more and takes longer to have a tattoo removed.
2. get something simplistic. if you get a tattoo that is too large and has too much detail, over the years those thin lines drawn aren't gonna be as crisp because with age comes gravity. your skin is going to stretch and the ink from those lines are going to spread. it'll look more and more like a blob if you get something with too much going on.

Think about what you want, and think about other places you might want to have it placed.

if you really are for sure about getting a tattoo on your chest......get something that means the most to you. But for women i find especially sexier if the tattoo is somewhere on their back. It tends to excentiate their features.

Remember tattoos are more or less permanent...what will look good when you are say...30, 40, 50 or even 80?

Think carefully about one on your chest, you don't want to have to try too cover it up when you are wearing evening gowns (or your wedding dress). What about a butterfly? A cat? A star? I think thats really a question you need to answer yourself, since none of us know you.

are you getting a tattoo to please yourself or everyone else? it may seem like a good idea now, but how good do you think it will look when you're 40? tattoos don't age very well, but they age their wearers quite well
a tattoo is permanent and should be dinstinctive and serve a purpose other than vanity or peer pressure
