I don't think you can even sell a Bible in those countries. But when they come to our countries we must love their religion and not comment negatively on it at all in case we offend them.

I'm a Muslim, studying medicine in one of middle east countries (Jordan)..but actually from Malaysia....it happens that most or some people think that other religions (beside Islam) are prohibited in these countries...but if we look to the geographical information of these countries, there are a significant percentage of Christians...other than that, like Jews, Hinduism, Buddhism are very little. But actually in Islamic law it is stated that infidels that settle in Islamic countries must be protected as long as they do not opposed the law in that Islamic country.

In Jordan, I can see many of my friends in university are Christians, and also there are lot of workers from China, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and others. To go to church is not even a problem, but I never found or know any temples for Buddhist or Hinduism believers in these countries.

Iraq is an anarchy; Iranians can be Christians, but their rights are limited, and Syria I have no idea about in that regard.

There are actually many Synagogues in Iran. I'm not sure if there are many churches.

The theocracy there really limits what you can say in public. Also the Muslim religion is heavily favored by the government, and the clergy hold public offices.

In Israel they do, but in all the Muslim countries except Jordan, no. A Jew cannot even set foot in Saudi Arabia, and if you convert there you will either be beheaded or shot. Christians all over the middle east are persecuted and forced underground, even in IRAN and IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN. In fact, one man was almost behead in Afghanistan for converting to Christianity. So much for making a democracy in that country.

yes most Christians are as old as Christ himself look at Palestinian Christians who live in Bethlehem they can go back to Christ time. Evangelical preachers are not welcomed in the middle east because the middle east christian think they are the true Evangelical preachers. Look Christianity was born in the Middle east its ours to keep it we love Christ more than you do

You can go to church, but can't be a missionary. part of that is less because they hate Chrisitianity as much as they hate how missionaires were used as the vanguard to colonialism. Chinese ban missionaires too and that is one of the reason. And thye think they don't need it or it will cause harm to the country.

There is freedom of religion in some countries there; however, this is in principle only. Many countries, such as Saudi Arabia, don't even pretend to tolerate non-Muslims.
