no you can not get into the guard with hep c cause that is still considered a bad health disease, the guard will wait until you get cured or work out a deal with your recruiter by helping him enlist at least 2 of friends that always helps.

hcv is in itself almost a "service" acquired disease (over 75% that have HCV are military vets) The jetshot gun is responsible.

national guard might be a little different. i knew someone who was national guard with major heart disease and he had it prior to enlisting.
