depends on whether you submit saliva or urine.

If you submit urine, usually they can figure out right away that it's urine, and they don't even need to do the test.

If it's saliva, then they do need to do the test, cause saliva could be something else (like water), or it could be from an animal, so they have to test it to make sure it's saliva

I notice that prospective employers are now using a saliva drug test, so I doubt it's less effective. It'd definitely be foolproof, too...you have no way of contributing someone else's saliva!

Yes, usually they can't detect drug usage after three days when using a saliva test.
