According to a study done at a college (they made a licking machine and did different tests) it takes about 300 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop (i said ABOUT).

It really depends on how you lick it.
Every time I've tried it i've gotten in between 250 and 300.

3 don't you remember the commercial? Just kidding. It depends on the person. How well your saliva breaks down food. how much saliva you use. How much of the surface you lick. it depends!!!!!!!!
