If they are getting along fine, it may work..They may enjoy eachother's company from the beginning..However, the kennel 'owner' might not like to share his den..If that happens, the solution would to be to get another kennel that is new to both of them..

As long as the dogs are not "resource guarding" dogs (ones that get territorial over their space), and as long as the dogs, when confined to the crate both have enough room to stand up (without their heads touching the top of the crate), lay down (without their face or behind touching the sides of the crate), and can turn around easily, they should be okay in the crate overnight.

Don't do any long-term confinment in such close quarters, though.

specific. A male canines will have an interest in a female on warmth in spite of length and the female is in basic terms too keen to oblige. while my previous English Sheepdog replaced into on warmth I knew that the only male interior the section which had no longer been neutered replaced right into a miniature Poodle, so I permit my canines off the lead. think of my ask your self while a tiny black speck rushed out of a neighbouring backyard and my canines crouched right down to house him. The Poodle being so small i replaced into waiting to cut up them until now that they had their relaxing. i've got consistently puzzled what this style of blend might have gave the effect of and not least what number domestic canines my canines might have produced. for my area i do no longer type a Beagle as a great canines, yet this is in basic terms my opinion.

MY OLD ROOMMATE HAD 2 PIT BULLS THAT SHE DONE THIS WITH AND THEY WERE FINE. WE HAD ONE OF THE GIANT BREED CAGES USED FOR DANES AND IT WORKED GREAT UNTIL THEY WERE A YEAR OLD AND GROWN. THEN THEY COUNDNT LAY IN THE CAGE WITHOUT LAYING ON TOP OF ONE ANOTHER SO SHE GOT A NEW CRATE. BUT WITH 2 SMALL DOGS IN A LARGE CRATE I THINK THEY WOULD BE FINE. DOGS ARE PACK ANIMALS AND THEY TEND TO DO BETTER WHEN THEY HAVE A PARTNER. GIVE IT A TRY. IF IT DOESNT WORK THEN HEY AT LEAST YOU KNOW.

You shouldn't put them together at first. They need a chance to get to know each other or you may have a major problem with fighting. After a week if they are getting along okay, they should be fine in the same cage.

I wouldnt recommend it. A dogs kennel is his personal area, its where he feels most safe and it should be only his.
