That soon passed as I got older and more mature.

Yes.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a vital experience of the Christian life. It is a special work of the Spirit beyond salvation. On the Day of Pentecost, disciples who had already made a decision to follow Jesus "were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues" (Acts 2:4). Paul asked the Ephesians disciples if they had received the Holy Spirit, after which "the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues" (Acts 19:2). New Testament believers were constantly challenged to be filled with the Spirit (Acts 1:4,5; Ephesians 5:18). The Assemblies of God is committed to the baptism in the Holy Spirit because the experience is such an important focus of New Testament Christianity.

In the early years it was a shivering nervous feeling when The Holy Spirit wanted me to speak to a group of other Christians, my lips would shiver. Now when the spirit comes upon me its definately a nice feeling, it's usually when he is using me to speak to people. Words of knowledge, wisdom.

I have the curling toe pleasure when I look for it. I also get Stigmata on my hands and feet a lot. I used to sing in the choir and one day noticed the front of my robe was getting wet from tears that were flowing down my face. I had to stop going to church because people accused me of making this stuff happen on purpose. Oh, and the stigmata hurts, so according to the church goers I was practicing self mutilation. So be careful who you share your tingly sensations to, you never know how others will react against you.

Unfortunately, feelings aren't proof of God's blessings, or even of his existence.
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
Works much better.

lol. holy spirit is existant only in your mind, as is this "shivering nice feeling". if you think of something sad you can make yourself cry... your mind cand make you have all sorts of feelings =\ nothing paranormal about it.

Yes...but mine is more like tingling...warm and comforting feeling. I can "feel" His presence when He is near. Definitely the WOW factor!
I can also "feel" the oppression when the enemy is near.

It's easy to work yourself into a frenzy over religious superstition, or anything else you strongly believe.
