How do I translate "El me cayó mal" in English?
I can't say "I did not like him" because then I would be doing the action and it would be my fault that I do not like him. I want to to say he is doing the action to me.

he was not my type of person!
because when you said el me cayo mal, means you don't want to hang out or be friends with him.

I would probably say 'I'm not very convinced about him' or 'There is something that didn't felt completely right about him'.
