If you are thinking about doing something magical in a month that will morph you into 3 sizes smaller, ans you can stay that way with your cureent eating and exercise habits, that is not very realistic.
Exercise and healthy eating has to be a lifestyle of many people. Sure, there are genetically gifted people who can eat whatever they want and still stay healthy, but they are a minority. So unless you are ready to make a change in your lifestyle for the rest of your days, you won't have really success at achieving your ideal body

How about getting just a cd player instead? There are some that aren't that expensive, they might be a little cumbersome, but still it's worth it to have some tunes. I love junk food too, but I know that for every gram of sugar I eat, it's just that many more empty calories I have to burn off.. plus those empty calories aren't doing me any good what so ever. As for staying on a "diet"... perhaps what you need to do instead is just eat healthier foods all through out the day. Instead of 3 huge meals, start eating about every 2 hours. Small portions & not huge full meals will sustain your body for longer periods. Carrot sticks, celery, apples, oranges.... broccoli, cauliflower, beans, lowfat or nonfat yoghurt, low or non fat milk... all these are healty foods. Get back into the gym & make sure when you go, you take some snack foods with you... Not Junk! What happens when we eat sugary foods is that you get a big high then a crash down. When that happens, we eat more sugary stuff to compensate. All you really need to do is adjust your diet & continue going to the gym. 5-6 smaller meals during the day will also help you to lose weight & stop the yo-yo effect. Apples have a good amount of natural sugar in them, plus the skin has fiber, which helps eliminate foods in the digestion system. Drink at least 8-10 8oz glasses of water every day to keep hydrated, especially during the winter months. Maybe you could make friends with some people at the gym & work out with them, sometimes that helps to break up the boredom.

There is no substitute for healthy eating (not a diet) and exercise. Try yoga, pilates, other other different types of exercise until you find something that you can stick with. Do not starve yourself. However, eat healthy foods in a moderate way. If you cannot control yourself and cannot maintain healthy eating habits and exercise for life, then you won't lose weight and don't deserve to.
Good Luck.

you need to grow up and stick with your decisions. You are the only one that can control what you do with your life and your body, if you don't no one else can or will. Get a copy of the South Beach Diet, available at any bookstore. Follow it, and take credit or responsibility for your progress or failure.
