Can YOU still wear sandals in November where you live?
If yes, don't sweat it.

It depends on where you live, but if you don't live in a climate where you can wear sandals all year round, no he probably shouldn't be wearing sandals then. It really all depends on what the weathers like and if your son gets cold easily. Remember its getting close to cold and flu season. You might not want to let him wear sandals anymore, just be on the safer side of things.

Sure, why not. It is cold where I am, and I still leave my shoes at home when I go out.
Years ago I knew of a delivery man who always wore shorts all year around -- even in snowy, blizzard weather. Now that I think back on it, I bet he was a barefooter, too, tho his boss probably required him to wear shoes when he was making deliveries. I bet he took his shoes off in the truck :)
If you son still wants to be barefoot in cold weather, I say let him.
I love being barefoot in snow and ice. If the air temperaure is not too cold (above freezing) then barefooting in the winter is fine so long as one is careful and does not over-do things. Frostbite is a bad thing for feet.

depends on if it is cold. the only thing i have against that is that sandals are not good to wear all the time for growing childrens feet. alot of problems occur from wearing flip flops for long periods of time. i'm a barefoot person and now that i'm older i have a lot of problems with me feet, because when i was a kid thru till my 30's i was barefoot. im 33 now and in the past year i've had tons of problems with my feet. now i can't go barefoot anymore and i have to wear very good shoes that aren't cheap.

My son thinks sandals are year round wear. I figure if it doesn't bother him why should it bother me?? I just let him be him. Good luck but the fight isn't worth it every time. By the way, we live in Utah and it is in the 30-40 here.

if its cold then no. It depends on how old your son is. Can he make up his own mind? I have lived in FL and wore sandals year round, now in VA we wouldn't wear them its out of season. makes it look like you cant afford new shoes for fall. Shoes are seasonal and I dont mean style wise.. I mean function.
. If you can afford new shoes you should get them. He will need them if its cold.

I know several people who wear sandals all year round. they say it is far more hygenic and comfortable. Me, I have a thing about sandals, I won't even wear them in the summer.

Is he old enough to want to or do YOU just want to?
Myself, i wear sandels of some sort almost all the time, even during rain and snow if it's not too deep. I'd put better shoes on my little guy though, he's only two and shouldn't have to have cold toes. :)

it really depends on if its cold or if its nice. U dont want ur child going outside and then becoming sick, so just make sure, that the weather is decent and u would wear them too. :)

As long as it is warm ( 65 degrees +) I don't see why not. We live in Northren CA. And there are days in the winter that we can still wear sandles.
