Ask him out! I'm kind of in that situation, except I'm a guy. I like this girl, and I'm pretty sure she likes me too, but I haven't asked her out. I was ready to do it yesterday, but I didn't see her. It gets harder and harder the longer I wait. So, as a guy, I can tell you that he'd appreciate it if you ask him. If he likes you, that is....

Dont lose sleep over it. Its ok. If he does like you, he will ask you out. If he does like you and is too shy, then you should ask him out. But before you do that, drop some hints. This will work magic.
