Could he want a 2nd chance?

I still have strong feelings for my ex.he has no experience with girls,I'm the first that liked him back.he's 22,I'm 24.we went out last winter break for a month.1 night we talked about kissing.so the next time we went out I was real nervous cuz I liked him so much.to summarize we went 2 fast(clothes on,no sex)got overwhelmed,said he didn't know what he was doing/his mind was racing a mile a minute/he was confused.I was beating myself up(mentally)during the car ride home.I leaned in 2 kiss him on the lips but he took it a step further(tounge) I cried n said I didn't wanna confuse him anymore.I called,he said 2 give him a couple days.he never returned my messages.In August I saw him at work w/his bro.told him I didn't hate him,he stared at me shocked n said he had 2 go. Read below 2 see what happened a week ago. I want to know if you think he might still have feelings 4 me and needs me 2 come n talk 2 him 2 give him confidence I still like him,or does it not mean much.thanks

A week ago,saw him at my store.I was cleaning the end of a register.turned around,we locked eyes,I think he said hi,but I wasn't sure so I looked down.he left with his dad(the were at the next register buying stuff).2 nights after George came by himself,parked right near the carts,walked past me,ran in2 the store,got something quick,paid at customer service,ran back outside,I walked over to the carts where he was parked,it was a real cold night,as he was running 2 his car he saw me and we kept looking at each other as if waiting 4 the other 2 say hi first.both of us didn't have enough courage, and he went in his car and left. before he'd make a U turn when he saw me in the store.he wouldn't want me to see him at all,would avoid me as much as possible.so could he be over what happened before,miss me,want us 2 talk and hang out again and just waiting 4 me 2 say something?now that he knows I don't hate him,or does he think I'm mad since I didn't say hi????help!

Since he's not experienced, everything (including subtle things like a harmless peck) will seem to be very personal. If you said something that seemed like a rejection (even though it's not) then he'll take it far too seriously. He feels rejected and he thinks he's not good for you. If I were you, I'd try to talk it out and give some confirmation that you do have feelings but not in a dating sense if that's the case.

I would leave it alone if at 22 he's still afraid of girls something is probably wrong, after all it was just making out. I mean seriously are you in your teens or in your twenties? Walk away, even if you ended up being together I'm sure there'd be a huge list of emotional problems and I'm sure you have better things to do. Let him date some younger girl and they can figure out who they are together. You should be with a MAN, who knows what he wants.

If you like him and he still likes you, give it a chance. If either one of you doesn't feel the same way about the other person, move on and cut your losses. There are tons of guys out there. How are you confusing him? Maybe HE is the one confusing you. Communication is key.
