Cut down on your portions and eat more small meals throughout the day. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day 3 times a week. Other than that you just need to give it time. It can take a couple of weeks before you start to notice a weight loss. Keep in mind - that from the exercise you're toning up and developing muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat but is compact. So you may actually gain weight but trim down if that makes any sense. Don't give up - lots of luck!!!

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. If you are taking medication, have your doctor check it out because when I was on depression medication, no matter what I did, I could not get the scale to move until I talked with my doctor who told me that it was my medication.

Don't do this without talking to your doctor but I throw all my medications out and started eating healthy and exercising, I felt better and lost 112 pounds.........no more depression !! But, please see your doctor first.
