I wouldn't break up with him over this but it does seem kind of funny that he conveniantly did that. You are at a disadvantage here. Do you want to ruin a big event in his life by not allowing him to go and if he goes is it to be with a certain someone or just to be alone at this dance? I would let him know how upset you are and don't try and play it off nice, get mad but let him go to it. This is a big deal and he will never be in school like this again. So for the big picture of his life you shouldn't be the girl that didn't let him go to this event. If he comes back from this thing happy and you guys end up marrying and living happily ever after neither of you will have this to regret.

Dear x-tina,
Face the stark reality...there is a reason he forgot to turn in your guest pass...there is a reason he wants to go without you; otherwise, he would take you elsewhere to be with you, the one he loves. I don't think so. I would pack his bags and send him walking. Had you been high on his priority list, you would be going with him to the homecoming. Please respect yourself. He doesn't. He thinks he can party and you'll be waiting for him. Wake up and smell the roses.

You should be a little upset...but not quite that dramatic. You guys have been together for over a year and a half and you're asking if you should break up with him over this?!?! Honestly, maybe you should...I say this becuz if you can even think of throwing away a relationship over something as little as this then it was never a good relationship to begin with.

Hell yeah you should break up with him. He didn't forget to turn in his guest pass. He just lied so he can take some girl you don't know and he thinks you're gonna be cool about it. Oldest trick in the book and you got played. Dump his sorry butt.

Remember, this is his homecoming. Let him enjoy. Don't break up with him because of this. Get over being mad. You can get even by setting a date with him, at the last minute, include one of your girl's as the third leg. This is a test for him and a treat for you.

NOT SURE I WOULD BREAK UP WITH HIM OVER IT. WHY DID HE TURN IN YOU PASS TOO LATE? I BET HIS WAS ON TIME. MAYBE HE DIDN'T REALLY WANT YOU TO GO WITH HIM AND THIS IS HIS WAY OF GETTING THAT. HE SHOULD GO, EVEN WITHOUT YOU, IT'S HIS REUNION. I WOULD BE MAD BUT WOULD TRY TO FIND OUT WHY HE NEGLECTED TO GET ME IN. GOOD LUCK

What a stupid thing to break up with someone about. Just let it be, and ask if he can just stay with you that night, try to come up with something great you guys can go and do.

you can't break up with someone for that
don't you love him?
don't be immature about this and don't let him take all the blame
if you knew it was going to be late and he was'nt taking
care of this that you have to be the mature one here
and do it ,that's what being responsible means.
good luck
