The only way to find out whether a person is here legally or illegally, is to check their papers. Period.
I'm beginning to think: if we, the people of the United States put this much effort into ridding ourselves of drug dealers, etc, as we do talking about the illegal aliens, maybe we'd get somewhere.
I'm not making light of the situation we're in concerning the illegal immigrant, but sometimes I wonder if we couldn't actually make our government hear our words, by sending them emails, letters, phone calls.. and not filling each other with such disdain for people.
It had taken my grandparents sometime before they could speak english - and they arrived here in their 20's. They spoke broken english, as time went on, learning the language from their children (born in this country) as they went to school.
And as to the fragrance someone mentioned above - that his nose knows - shame on you!

Mostly when they are in the back of the Border Patrol van,being transported back to the border.
You cant tell by just looking at someone that's for sure.
I have a neighbor that lives 3 houses down from me,he drives a brand new Mercedes.Hes Hispanic,and a doctor,but to see him if you didn't know him,on his days off,you might think hes the yard person and not the owner of his home.He does what most people do on days off,hes dressed in old clothes,but he also
wears a big sombrero.
He speaks perfect English and is one of the kindest funniest men alive.So don't judge a book by its cover or an illegal by his clothes.

If you're wondering if someone is illegal or not, all you have to do is say "Hey, immigration is coming!" By their reaction...you'll know the answer. Simple.

You can't tell by looking or by their English speaking ability. The only way is to check their IDs and or papers.

That's so true!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen them do this. I've actually called the cops on them for urinating in public.

IF THEY CAN'T SPEAK english and you've seen them for more than 6 months,,,damn good chance,,or if they have a tennesse drivers liscense and they live in new york,,,probably,,or they,,say i don't have my papers yet when you ask them,,pretty simple really
