My mother would make a sweet rice dish using ginger tea she made it for us whenever our stomachs hurt. Instead of using water to make the rice you use the ginger tea and when finished you add sugar and milk it was very good. She as you, was not wasteful and would use whatever she had on hand to make meals.

Seems you are awfully picky about what you do with it, don't you think? How much money do you "waste" each time you buy a ready made hot cup of coffee? Sounds like you have already spent more energy than the tea is worth.

are you talking about tea bags of ginger tea? if you dont like them, maybe adding honey would help. i mix green and ginger tea together and that works for me.
