composite bonding is the use of attaching two materials together with a two-part adhesive material. Composite = made up of 2 or more materials.

In aviation use bonding has two different meanings:

The electrical connection of an aircraft, re-fuelling pump and ground to prevent static electrical arcing and thus fire. This use is related to the electrical use of the term above.
The use of special glues to attach two pieces of metal together as an alternative to bolts or rivets.
