What you should be looking at is Body Mass Index.

I'm not sure whether you're a guy or a girl, but either way - 90 pounds is really not a healthy weight for a 15-year-old who is 5'4" tall. Your BMI would be 15.4, which is rated by physicians as being underweight, maybe even dangerously underweight. Your BMI now is 17.8, which is still a little on the light side.

Your weight right now is pretty good, and the reason that you're not losing weight is because you're still growing. You're 15, you're going to keep growing until you're 18, even if it's just filling out.

Don't worry about weight loss. You're right where you should be. As for exercise, walking long distance is a good thing to do anyway, whether you lose weight or not.

start breaking up your walks, walk 200 metres / yards, jog 100 metres / yards, build that up until you can do 200 walking then 200 jogging, when that becomes easy, throw in the occasional 50 metre / yard sprint. This will bring about the burning of more calories and in turn the loss of weight that is if you do not lose control of your better eating habits. Little but often. Try to stop any snacking. If all those efforts come to nothing it is because you are cheating, so cut yer head off for the desired weight loss.

Exercising and eating right and less as that is very healthy. I can give you one tip though that will save you a lot of calories. Don't drink anything with calories. I just drink water, flavored water, and diet soda. Also if you want you can replace some meals with Lean Cuisine frozen dinners. They're pretty good and they help with portion control. Although I think if you lost 14 pounds from 104 that would be pretty underweight.

My question is why you want to lose 14 lbs in the first place. 5'4" and 104 lbs is a perfectly acceptable weight. Losing that much weight (You'll be 90 lbs!) could be very unhealthy.

walking is great but it depends how long you are walking... at least 30 mins. of walking a day would be the best. and you should probaly start to move up to jogging/ running for atleast 15 mins. a day. there is where you will see the most improvement

trust me it is tough to see results at first but if you walk or run everyday for about 8 weeks you will start to see some results. keep it up and good luck.

p.s. some light strength training would be great too... maybe 3 days a week. .. anything else jus let me kno

First off, if your 15. Stop eating out of the damn snack machines in school. Switch from regular "empty calorie soft drinks" to diet. They DO taste the same. Stop eating fast food. Just doing those things will greatly improve your weight.

There's a reason your body is not letting you lose weight. You don't need to. 104 is already very thin.
