I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

Does Age Matter In Love

Yes. It matters in that the person has to be mature enough to enter into a relationship with realistic expectations and understand love, support, give-and-take, that there will be trials and they will get through them together, etc...basically...maturity. And to be honest, some people NEVER mature, so keep that in mind. As a rule of thumb I would stay out of anything serious with anyone in their 20's..these days. You can date them for ten years if you want, as long as when the date is set, they are late late 20's early 30's. In the 20's there is still a lot of partying to do, travelling, minimal responsibility, can move around easily-probably renting, probably no kids..it's all about FREEDOM to pursue any whim or sin imagineable..then you hit 30 and you think it might be time to start buckling down, you had your fun, time to get busy....then it's ok. So...after than it doesn't matter...a 50 year old with a 35 year old..whatever...just avoid the 20's.

Yes.

There has to be a gap.

Innocent lovers go by emotions
and sudden feelings in a tender age.

With every day passing by, the
person starts getting matured.

The person of non-tender age
is able to identify the good and bad
things of lives.

When the person grows to maturity,
he behaves in a decent manner.

Love means sharing and guiding
as well. It is not the physical relationship
alone.

Decisions can be taken if there is
maturity in the boy.

There has to be age gap between the
boy and the girl. The girl should be
7 years younger to the boy for
making a decent and successful
marriage, otherwise the girl will
/may behave like a silly child to press
her views.

There are 95% failure in such marriages,
where the age gap is less/ or equal aged/
or the girl is older than the boys.

Look around you will find it yourself.

age matters when it comes to legal issues if you are or the other person is a minor and the other is an adult love must wait and platonic love must be the way until both of you are of consenting age cause no one needs to be staying in prison and wrecking families and having all that drama for love and real love is not selfish, does not want ,except for wishing the other person happiness and joy in their life and love will grow and wait otherwise , age is just a number when it comes to blind and irrational love , no reason or id required

with love age should not matter at all. But with 10 years or more difference, you have to be more careful about whether the person truly loves you and to not cause controversy be more descrete and careful. But love is love, society puts an age limit but your heart does not.
