Try 2 Kings ch 13 vss 14-20.
That's the account of Joash, king of Israel, being instructed by Elisha to fire his arrows out of a window, after which he was to strike the ground with the arrows. Joash struck three times and stopped. Elisha was indignant at his lack of enthusiasm - it was as if the symbolism of firing the arrows (that would deliver Israel from Syrian oppression) was lost on him. But read it for yourself...!

lost,
I tried hard to find something on that. This is the closest thing I could find:
Jeremiah 19:10 Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee,
11 And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.

One of the kings was to take some arrows and strike the floor with them. Is this what you mean?
