i am a sinthi gypsie by birth. but leaving my family behind to marry an american "divorced" me from them. i would like for my son to have his ceremonie regardless. i never witnessed one and can't turn to my family for advice.

perhaps if you did a search on Gypsy Traditional Ceremonies - go through everything you can find and see if it isn't there.
What about doing a search at the library..

Sometimes, in cases such as this, turning to your family may be a way of reuniting. Give it a try, for your son, as well as yourself. maybe if they saw that you were trying to keep the traditions..

How does your spouse feel about all this.
