I was dating my brothers best friend which is, of course, forbidden. But I just love him so much and he said he loved me too. He said that he loved me but at the first sign of trouble he dropped me. Now he told my very best friend that he didn't even care about me. I love him so much and now I'm torn apart inside and I just want to know why he put me through it and what I can do to feel better. I can't even be mad at him, that's the worst part, I love him so much i can't be mad...just hurt.

no offense but he may of just said that to eiather get in your pants or just make u stick around till he didnt need you anymore its like and ego thing with some guys they just dont want you to break up with them first i'm sorry this happened to you chica but the best thing to do is sulk for a few day forgive and forget cause telling by how much you say u care shows that your a sweet girl ice cream sweat pants and a good movie is your best friend right now dont let this keep you down go out there and hook another you and i both know you can and if u want revenge tell your brother what happened he may get mad at you but will kick the **** out of him but if your not a vengeful person just skratch that good luck

This may be infatuation on your part. You sound young and I'm sure this does hurt alot. I've gone through relationships that have driven me crazy and became all I could think about, but now, looking back from where I am today, I wish that I hadn't used up so much valuable time on them. Things do get better. My advice, if you're asking, is to do some things that make you happy -- all by yourself -- in fact, what I would do is go shopping!
Have a happy day, and then one more. Pretty soon this will be part of your past. There are some wonderful guys out there, move on, and leave this one behind.

I'm kinda going through the same thing. I just think guys are all liars. At least that is what I am gathering from years past. I know it's hard, I have cried everyday about my ex and why he feels the way he does. It's almost as if the male species doen't have feelings. All they want is sex. But seriously, just hang out with a good group of girlfriends, go treat your self to a day spa or something, over time you'll feel better.

Oh girl....I seriously doubt he loved you. I'm guessing he told you this to get something out of you, which makes him an ********. I'm sorry that you have to go through this...it hurts really badly when you love them, but the feelings aren't reciprocated. He sounds like he was using you, and I hope that your heart is not forever traumatized because there are decent guys out there....promise.

people do love you at first. but understanding the dynamics behind your love is one thing, actually making the emotional connection to discharge the need for it is another story. believe that you love you and then when a man says I love you you`ll be able to feel if it`s true or not. we love alot of people in our life time.but there is no better love then loving you.
